Apex Corporation is a hoodie manufacturer in Karachi, Pakistan, working with retailers, brands, and buying houses across fifteen markets. We've been running the same factory floor since 1984. Hoodies share the production floor with our T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, trousers, and shorts, all built on the same machines and to the same retail standard. Hoodie weights span lightweight 220 GSM French Terry pullovers through 500 GSM heavyweight fleece for premium oversized streetwear. Activewear, Loungewear, and Streetwear are our three pillars, and every fit and weight band sits inside one of them.
Every hoodie starts from grey fabric we knit ourselves on six DSK circular machines that produce 2,400 kilograms of cotton, polyester-cotton, and blended fleece and french terry fabric daily. The fabric goes through shrinkage and GSM testing before cutting, then moves through retail-standard sewing on Juki and Siruba lines under our own roof: kangaroo or zipped front pockets, ribbed cuffs and hems, two-piece or three-panel hoods, drawcords with metal or plastic tipping, and your choice of woven, satin, or tagless heat transfer labels. Our MOQ is 100 pieces per style per colour. First samples are free, ready in 3 to 5 working days. Tech pack to FOB Karachi runs 60 to 75 days end-to-end. Monthly capacity is 50,000 pieces across all knitted garment categories. The same lines that produce a 200-piece capsule of oversized fleece hoodies for a streetwear label run a 30,000-piece zip-up order for a retail chain the following week. The machines, the QC standard, and the packing standard don't change with order size. The lead time scales with it.

A 480 GSM heavyweight oversized fleece for a streetwear capsule and a 280 GSM cropped hoodie for a women's lifestyle range come off the same machines under the same QC standard. Every hoodie below is retail-grade, with our standard 100-piece MOQ per style per colour and the sampling and bulk timeline that applies across our hoodie programme.

Construction details forevery hoodie we manufacture
Construction is where a retail hoodie pulls away from a generic blank. We stitch with single-needle and double-needle topstitching, flat-lock seams for athletic builds, and bartack reinforcement at every pocket corner. Hoods come two-panel or three-panel, single or double-lined, with metal or plastic aglets. Pockets sit kangaroo, side-seam, or zipped. Cuffs and hems run 1×1 or 2×2 rib. Pre-shrunk, garment-dyed, pigment-dyed, and brushed-inside finishes all available. Specify in the tech pack, or pull from the defaults below.

Printing & Accessories

Branding takes a hoodie from a blank fleece body to a finished retail product. Embroidery, puff print, and silicone transfers all hold up well on heavyweight cotton fleece, while screen printing and plastisol transfers handle most retail-volume hoodie orders. Printing & Branding Methods
Screen printing handles retail-volume hoodie orders with plastisol or water-based inks from 500 pieces upward, and the cotton fleece body holds the print well across washes. Plastisol transfers cover spot logos and reorder runs without the screen setup. Heat transfer vinyl works for athletic numbers, names, and short-run customisation. Puff print and high-density print suit streetwear hoodies where a raised, dimensional logo is part of the design language. Silicone and rubber prints stay flexible across heavier fleece and survive repeated washing on premium retail orders. Sublimation is reserved for 100% polyester performance hoodies, where it covers all-over patterns and team graphics.
Accessories & Trims
Embroidery does most of the work on hoodies. Chest logos, sleeve graphics, hood detail. Flat stitch is standard, 3D puff for raised dimensional logos, multi-thread up to 12 colours when artwork demands it. Patches go on next: woven or embroidered for most retail orders, PVC and leather for premium streetwear. Sewn-on patches survive washing better than heat-applied. Drawcords are where most brands customise. Flat profile reads cleaner. Round profile is the default. Aglets come in metal, rubber, or plastic. Premium streetwear usually goes metal, retail volume usually plastic. Eyelets are optional. For zip-up and half-zip hoodies, we run metal or plastic zippers, with brass and gunmetal the most common pulls. Woven labels come in damask, satin, or taffeta, placed at the neck, inner, or side-seam. Tagless heat-transfer labels for cleaner retail finish. Hangtags, polybags, and custom packaging all standard.

Every hoodie order moves through the same eight-step process at our Karachi factory. Nothing goes to bulk before you approve the physical sample. The whole workflow, from tech pack inquiry to FOB Karachi dispatch, runs under one roof with monthly capacity for 50,000 pieces.
Tech Pack & Quotation
Buyer sends tech pack with fabric specs, quantity, and target price. Apex reviews feasibility and provides FOB quotation.
Sample Development
Pattern development, cutting, and sewing of first sample. 3 to 5 days for normal samples, 10 to 14 days for custom.
Sample Revisions
Revision rounds refine fit, fabric, finish, and branding placement to spec.
Sample Approval & PPS
Pre-production sample shipped for final review. Buyer signs off before bulk production begins.
Fabric Knitting & Finishing
Bulk yarn knitted on DSK circular machines. Dyed, washed, and compacted to your approved GSM.

What Buyers Ask Before They Order
The questions international buyers raise most often when sourcing custom hoodies from a Pakistan-based manufacturer.
Pullovers are the cleaner silhouette and the cheaper build, since there's no zipper, slider, or zip tape to source. Zip-ups skew toward outerwear and athleisure ranges where the buyer wants the option of layering open. For most retail orders, brands run pullovers as the volume style and add zip-ups as the second SKU.
We target 5% or less residual shrinkage on compactor-finished cotton fleece, with patterns graded to a 7% allowance. Without compactor finishing, shrinkage on heavyweight fleece can run 8 to 12% after first wash, which is why we always recommend the finishing step for retail orders.
Brushed fleece traps heat with the inside napped surface, suited for cold-climate retail and winter streetwear. French terry stays smoother and more breathable, better for transitional weather and athletic loungewear. The choice usually comes down to season and target market, not price.
Single-layer hoods are the standard build and keep cost down. Double-layer (lined) hoods add structure, hold their shape better when worn down, and are the default on premium streetwear. Expect 10 to 12% added cost for double-layer construction, depending on hood fabric weight.
We grade from XS to 3XL standard, with XXS and 4XL or 5XL available on request. Tolerance is plus or minus 1cm on chest and length up to XL, plus or minus 1.5cm on 2XL and above, and plus or minus 0.5cm on shoulder. For oversized fits we work from your tech pack measurements directly, since "oversized" means different things across brands.
Yes, we source GOTS-certified, BCI, and recycled cotton fleece through our spinning mill partners on request, at a 150kg minimum per colourway. Add 10 to 14 days to the standard lead time for sourcing.
